Cancellation & Refund Policy

Our commitment: Cancellation should be simple, immediate, and hassle-free.

We believe you should never be trapped in a subscription. If our product isn't right for you, you have every right to leave — no hoops, no tricks, no delays.

1. Your Right to Cancel

You may cancel your Modax Support Suite subscription at any time, for any reason, without penalty. This is a firm commitment — not a courtesy. We operate under the principle that every customer must be able to terminate their subscription freely and without friction.

2. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription through any of the following methods:

  • Self-Service: Navigate to your workspace Settings > Billing > Cancel Subscription. Cancellation is processed instantly.
  • Email: Send a cancellation request to info@modaxerp.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 1 business day.
  • Contact Form: Submit a cancellation request through our contact page. We will confirm cancellation within 1 business day.

If you experience any difficulty cancelling through any of these methods, contact us immediately. We will resolve the issue and process your cancellation without delay.

3. What Happens When You Cancel

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period.
  • You will not be charged for any subsequent billing periods.
  • Your data remains available for 30 days after cancellation. You may request a full data export during this period.
  • After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a full refund under the following circumstances:

  • Within 14 days of first payment: Full refund, no questions asked.
  • Service failure: If we fail to deliver the service as described, you are entitled to a prorated refund for the affected period.
  • Billing errors: Any charges made in error will be refunded in full immediately upon discovery.
  • Inability to cancel: If you experience any barrier to cancellation and are charged as a result, we will refund the charge in full.

Refund requests are processed within 5–10 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

5. No Dark Patterns

We do not use and will never use deceptive practices to prevent or delay cancellation. This means:

  • No hidden cancellation steps or confusing workflows.
  • No mandatory phone calls required to cancel.
  • No "retention offers" that delay the cancellation process.
  • No continued billing after a cancellation request has been submitted.
  • No penalties or fees for cancellation at any time.

6. Regulatory Compliance

Modax Consulting Inc. (Canada), Modax Consulting LLC (USA), Modax Consulting Ltd. (UK) (collectively, "Modax" or "we," "our," or "us") is committed to full compliance with consumer protection and subscription cancellation regulations in all jurisdictions where we operate, including but not limited to:

  • Canada: Competition Act, Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), and provincial consumer protection statutes (Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002; Quebec Consumer Protection Act; and equivalent provincial legislation).
  • United States: Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Negative Option Rule, Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA), and applicable state consumer protection laws including California Automatic Renewal Law (ARL) and New York General Business Law.
  • United Kingdom: Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and guidance from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) on subscription traps.
  • European Union: Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), Unfair Commercial Practices Directive (2005/29/EC), and the Digital Services Act (DSA) provisions on transparent subscription management.

We regularly review our cancellation processes to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving regulations in these jurisdictions.

7. Disputes

If you believe your cancellation was not processed correctly, or if you have been charged after submitting a cancellation request, please contact us at info@modaxerp.com. We take every billing dispute seriously and will resolve the issue within 2 business days.

If we are unable to resolve the matter to your satisfaction, you retain the right to pursue the dispute through your payment provider, consumer protection authority, or applicable legal channels.
